stuff and things
i got up late today and proceeded not to do anything for another hour or so. weirdly, it's because i went on tumblr, as i often do when i first wake up lol and i saw a bbc merlin fanfiction that was like a, i dunno an alternate universe where merlin is royalty and merthur shenanigans ensue. it was one chapter so i didn't think i'd be there for long but it was a LONG one-shot which i didn't realise til i noticed the scrollbar was basically a dot. lol. it was pretty good, i don't really know why i clicked it cuz i don't like AUs in general. alas.
then i put off getting a shower til like 3pm cuz i got sidetracked looking through official art on the ace attorney wiki lmao ok but i have a cute new wallpaper so what are ya gonna do. i did a little messing around with website stuff, did some planning. i had a little idea that i could have like ID cards at the top of the page, like a pokemon trainer card and then it struck me. the, character profiles in the court record in ace attorney? i'd love that cuz it's like, just a little mugshot-type picture, and the name and age, and then like a line or two, written from the perspective of whoever you're playing as. i guess it wouldn't be like that exactly, but a little line like. i wrote in my little notebook about andy: "andy is just a little guy. he only want to live in peace and plant potatoes and dream." like, not that lmao but like that.
i keep changing my mind about how i wanna draw them. kinda wish i could make little pixel art sprites of them, but i don't think so. i could learn. but i think something else. i've been trying to like, i dunno, i've been doodling some more "realistic" faces i.e. with some semblance of real human anatomy rather than circle for head dots for eyes type of thing. i stopped drawing like that for the longest time but, it's fun. i went off character art cuz it's not like, profitable or universally appealing, but now i can have fun again because it's Just A Website. that i am making for fun. so, we shall see.
guess what else i did with my day. that's right, i did some more clearing out. just been working on my brother's (old, he moved out years ago) room that has my computer in, where i'm usually sat when i type these! anyway, i finally made space in the cupboard for his 5000 monopoly boards so i moved them, which is exciting. for me. threw out another bag of rubbish. the bulk of the rest of it by now, besides the stuff my sister needs to come over and go through, is mainly bedding which i think we can donate a lot of. so i'm getting there!!!
work tomorrow. curious to see if my manager says anything about how my interview went. i think i have a thing happening actually... should be fine. ok, still got time to go to bed and get enough sleep. go go go!!!
