so much for regular updates
I am feeling so spaced out today. I guess that's been the case most days lately though.
Yesterday me and Sam hung out for the first time in a while because of everything that's been going on with me and, as predicted, it was really nice and fun, despite initial connection issues. I really like the Powerwash Simulator game lol it's a good backdrop for talking. I feel like we have a good range of stuff we can get up to depending on what the vibe is. Still many films to see which reminds me I need to update the movie cookie wheel lmao.
I randomly got back into working on my website again and it was really nice to work on something creative for once. I actually like how my navbar looks now and I figured out dropdown menus. Weird though. I see people using an unordered list to create their navbars 90% of the time, which is also what I had before, but it wasn't working with the dropdown for some reason. So maybe I'll discover that the current approach actually was a really bad idea and breaks my whole website but I think not. Lol. I'm just now realising there is an actual nav element. This may have been easier......
Um, my little brain project right now is this stupid headset which I decided to plug in again and was still only working in the left ear but I kid you not, if I simply stand up and sit back down it fixes the issue most times. So I'm like what the hell is going on with the wiring in this thing. As I was just sitting here typing it went one-sided again, I stood up, it fixed it again. It was still being one-sided when I checked it with a different cable so I feel like it must be to do with the headset itself, not the cables. So it's just like... what is it about standing up that is temporarily fixing some dodgy connection somewhere...? It doesn't look like there's an easy way to open them up and I wouldn't know what I was looking for anyway. I'm wondering whether to just cut my losses lol. I dunno. I think I'd prefer a bluetooth headset at this point. But these were like. Not capital E Expensive but not exactly throwaway cheap either. And I can't return them. So...
I just contacted the manufacturers, expecting they can't do anything unless it's under warranty and I can't find the damn card with the registration code anywhere but at least I have a purchase receipt... not expecting much but worth a try.
Anyway... I'm going to do the dishes. Walk the dog. I don't feel awake or present at all but sometimes you just gotta do Something to pull yourself out of it, maybe it will work, maybe it won't.
