beetles
stuck at home and downstairs because of my dog's recent surgery which is basically an invitation to keep working on my fish/bug/sea creature collection... I caught the remaining five beetles on one singular bamboo island which took a couple hours of walking around in circles but, feels good to have those checked off!!! now all i need bugs-wise is... a migratory locust, rice grasshopper, and... a fly. which is really random. i've left an empty can outside for a few days but i haven't seen one spawn yet.
in other news, testing out my glasses a little more i've realised they're a bit off so i'm sending them back to have them adjusted. thankfully the place i got them from was really responsive.
it's coming up to my new job starting so i'm getting a little bit nervous. but, i think it'll be good. there's a few folks i've worked with a few times who are really nice people and i guess i'll be more involved with them, so that should be okay.
lastly, yesterday i went out with my friend and it was nice. i got a footrest and a desk mat from IKEA and we got lunch there. we actually hung out for a while longer this time and it didn't really feel like a huge drain on my energy. it's been easier to talk. so i'm hopeful it'll stay chill between us.
